Habiter à la ferme | Falkudden Camping & Stugby is situated in an area of considerable natural beauty on the shore of Lake By, a bay of the Dalälven river, 22 km outside Avesta. The camping plots and cottages are all a stone's throw from the bathing area which has a sandy beach.
The camping site is a little and cosy place with a sand beach. The unique location gives you the possibility to swim, to fish, to canoe, to hike and to bike. For small children the water is suitable and there is a bathing jetty. In the surroundings we have the Färnebofjärden National Park where you can make magnificent hiking tours.
There are 12 cottages, for 4 persons. They are equipped for self-catering and in addition to kitchen equipment, have a fridge, coffee machine, table-top cooker and electric heating. The nearby service building has showers, WC, washing and washing-up facilities.
On the camping site you will find a nice kiosk with a terrace, here you can have something to eat and to drink. You can order also fresh bread or breakfast and buy some souvenirs.
