Hotel | Come here for a weekend and enjoy some undisturbed free time during a stay at Söderfors Herrgård. We will fill your stay with enjoyable experiences and you will have time left over for yourself and your travelling companions.
By the banks of the Dalälven River lies Söderfors Bruk, one of Sweden’s largest listed heritage sites. The ironworks here was founded in 1676 and its task was to supply the Swedish navy with anchors.
You will also find our beautiful manor house here. Söderfors Herrgård is one of the oldest in this region and was built in the 1690s, originally in the prevailing Caroline style but it was rebuilt in the Rococo style in the mid-1700s.
Today Söderfors Herrgård welcomes you to a natural meeting place close to both urban life and the countryside. At the manor house, now more than 300 years old, we can offer you tasty dinners in our restaurant, well-organised conferences and parties, and, not least, peaceful weekends in a beautifully preserved historic setting.
