How we work sustainably for the future

Avesta has been a base for the staple industries for hundreds of years. Today, Outokumpu Avesta is a world leader in stainless steel. And like the steel industry, Stora Enso Fors also works with large rolls. But these are instead rolling out an all-new cardboard, mainly used for chocolate, that is both low in carbon dioxide emissions and recyclable. Avesta also has more than 1,800 other companies – big and small – that give our community energy and confidence in the future.
