Habiter à la ferme | Östa is the perfect place for those who want to live, fish, hike, swim or just relax. The spacious cottages are beautifully situated in a pine forest area on Östahalvön in the middle of Färnebofjärden, surrounded by a five kilometer long sandy beach.
Swim, play and relax at the fantastic sandy beaches that surround Östa peninsula in river Dalälven. Paddle or hike to explore the unique wilderness of the nature reserve and Färnebofjärden National Park. There are marked trails that are equipped with shelters and barbecue areas. Fishing is one of mid Sweden's best with really big pike, walleye and perch. The bay is large and allows the angler to find your very own cove.
Färnebofjärden National Park offers a unique river landscape as well as one of the best and most varied fishing waters, popular among the top 10 -Fishing 's selected fishing areas. Färnebofjärden consists of 5000 hectare and stretches along 20 kilometers of River Dalälven between rapids in Tyttbo and Gysinge. It is one of the largest bay with over 100 islands, headlands and peninsulas with almost no buildings .
The cottage has a view over the lake and is located 200 meters from the beach, well enclosed in nature. In the cottage there are 3 bedrooms, 6 beds in total. The kitchen is well equipped and is combined with the living room. Dining place, sitting furniture and TV. WC/shower. Outdoor area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The cottage is for rent weekly or daily for self-catering. We also have a fishing offer which includes the cottage for 6 people, aluminum boats with 4 hp engines and fishing license for Färnebofjärden.
