Kamping | Hedesunda Camping, close to Hedesunda village, creates an atmosphere of a wonderfully landscaped park. It is a quiet camping site, located near a very beautiful lakeside, with its own jetties and sandy beach, known as 'Sandnäsbadet'.
Hedesunda Camping is an ideal destination for swimming, fishing, canoeing, or just to relax in. Except for the 150 spacious sites for tents and caravans, 50 with electricity, there are also cottages in different styles.
Wooden cottages
On the camping area there are beautiful wooden cottages, built in the Swedish traditional style out of robust wooden logs. These cottages are cosy and comfortable and suitable for 4-6 persons. The cottages have two separate bedrooms and an additional loft, a bathroom and a fitted kitchen and living room. The cottages are fully equipped with a shower, toilet, colour TV, full size cooker and fridge, fireplace and sofa bed. In front of the cottage you will find a nicely furnished terrace where you can spend many lovely evenings. Bed linen is compulsory.
Simple cabins
Hedesunda Camping also has 5 simple cabins which are suitable for 2 up to 4 persons. Each cottage contains 2 bunk beds, a cooker, table-ware and cutlery, a refrigerator, electric heater and a table with 4 chairs. In front of the cottage you will find a furnished terrace. Bed linen is compulsory.
Boats and licences
For those who want to go fishing on the Dalälven there are different fishing boats to rent:
Linder 400HP - 9,9Hk 4-cycle
Linder 440 - 4Hk 4-cycle
The Linder 400 can also be equipped with a sonar or an electromotor. At the camping’s reception you can buy a fishing licence for Hedesunda/Bramsöfjärden as well as fishing equipment and maps.
With a wonderful view over Dalälven waterfront you will find the restaurant Sandsnäs where you can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a drink there is the restaurant’s bar. For your convenience, you can order freshly baked bread for the following morning and there is a take-away service for hot meals. Ice creams, candy etc. are available in the kiosk next to the restaurant and at the camping’s reception. Even with all facilities readily available you still have a feeling of being 'out in the wild', making your stay on our Campsite an unforgettable experience.
