Falkudden Camping & Stugby is beautifully situated on the banks of Bysjön, a bay in the Dalälven River, 22 km outside Avesta in Dalarna County. As our guest, you will stay just a stone’s throw from our very own sandy beach. Our unique location creates opportunities for swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking and much more.
The 5.4-acre campground stretches down to the banks of the Dalälven River. We have thirty-five campsites, most equipped with electricity. Some of the sites are beautifully situated right next to the water. There are two service buildings with toilets and pay showers in the middle of the campground, with a kitchen area for guest use. Campsites with or without electricity, service building with free toilet, pay shower and kitchen, and reception with a small shop and café, where you can buy groceries or simple dishes from our menu.
Included: The campground has a small shop and café. If you’d like, you can order breakfast directly from us. We have freshly baked cinnamon buns and baguettes every morning. Please order the day before. There is a service station with a small grocery store near the campground. You can rent a canoe, pedal boat, rowboat or motorboat from us and head out on the Lower Dalälven River. We’d be happy to tell you where to find all the best fishing waters in the area. We also offer great boat and fishing packages. You can buy a fishing license from us. We also have bicycles for rent.
