The Hedesunda campground on the island of Ön in Hedesunda gives the feeling of being in a lush park out in the middle of the wilderness. The quiet campground has a sandy beach and quays for private boats and is an ideal place for swimming and fishing or just relaxing. It is also an excellent base for excursions by bike, boat or canoe. Hedesunda Camping has 60 spacious campsites for RVs, caravans and tents, as well as nice cabins for rent. There is a restaurant that serves both food and alcoholic beverages and a large terrace overlooking the Dalälven River. Basic groceries, soft drinks, candy, ice cream, sandwiches, fishing gear and fishing licenses can be purchased in the reception. There are boats, bicycles and SUPs available for campground guests to rent.
